Construction of gas and water supply lines

Underground engineering networks are an essential element of the engineering equipment of a modern city and characterize the degree of its development and improvement. Due to the development of new residential areas and the deterioration of old engineering networks, the underground communications of each city are in a state of continuous development and reconstruction. Underground engineering networks include pipelines, cables and manifolds for various purposes, inputs and branches into buildings. The construction of engineering networks includes the choice of the method of laying communications, which is made taking into account the depth of the pipeline, its diameter and length, construction time, features and sizes of the construction site, the availability of roads, time of year, hydrogeological and climatic conditions. The choice of the method of construction is also greatly influenced by the material of the pipes (reinforced concrete, steel, cast iron, asbestos cement, plastics, etc.), since the methods of their connection and the sequence of technological processes depend on the material of the pipes. Work on laying underground engineering networks is carried out according to a single technological scheme for the construction of a city street. The laying of underground engineering networks should precede road and other landscaping works taking into account long-term construction plans. The route of each network should be established in accordance with the project for the placement of all underground networks on this street, with a clear link between the improvement of the city and the construction of streets and squares. Currently, in the construction of underground engineering networks, both traditional open trench and modern, more technological laying methods are used. With the open trench method of work, the laying of cables and pipelines can be separate with the laying of structures in different trenches. The combined laying of several networks in one trench and in the common collector is also used.
